Well it is all systems go for the Narra Water Rats Exchange Weekend with Taree / Old Bar Lifesaving Club.

We have around 17 members heading off to Taree/Old Bar and more are welcome, please let us know if you would like to join us on what is shaping up to be great learning experience and fun, along with the community spirit of lending a hand to those who need it.It is open to families and young kids are welcome.

Taree/Old Bar is a club which has experienced difficulties in significantly declining membership and are in a period of regrowth. They have opened themselves up for clubs to visit them and assist with their patrols while they try and re-establish their own patrol base.

See message from Taree/Old Bar Administrators:“Once again many thanks for supporting the members of Taree Old Bar Surf Lifesaving Club during their period of regrowth in membership and qualified lifesavers.”

Dates: leave Friday 11th April around 4pm, return Sunday late-ish evening. (car-pooling arrangements)

Costs: $ contributions for food only, we will be bunking in the clubhouse which has full facilities including kitchen, showers and bathroom facilities. ( it really is a “team building” weekend.)
