Lifesaving
Lifesaving
Narrabeen Beach SLSC provides voluntary patrols of the beach each weekend & public holiday from the last weekend in September to the last weekend in April. The patrol hours are from 9am to 4pm throughout October & April, & from 9am to 5pm at all other times.
The minimum qualification held by each lifesaver is a bronze surf lifesaving medallion, but within each patrol there is also a qualified IRB driver & crewman, & personnel with more advanced resuscitation & first aid knowledge.
At Narrabeen Beach, on average each volunteer patrols half a day every three weeks. The club regularly runs bronze & other training courses & anybody interested in becoming a Narrabeen Beach lifesaver should contact us.
