WHERE IS
NARRABEEN BEACH SLSC
It might sound like a simple question with a simple answer . . . but the fact is, many people (even
locals!) cannot tell you where Narrabeen Beach Surf Life Saving Club is situated.
The reason is that four surf clubs share the same beach - the longest in the northern metropolitan area of Sydney.
And three of these four clubs have "Narrabeen" as part of their name: South Narrabeen, Narrabeen Beach
and North Narrabeen.
Narrabeen Beach SLSC is situated in the heart of Narrabeen, right behind the shopping centre, between the Pacific Ocean and Narrabeen Lakes.
If heading north along Pittwater Road (the main road), turn right at the Ocean St traffic lights and Narrabeen Beach SLSC is about 500m along on your right hand side, in "Lions Park", (Ocean St between King St and Albert St.)
If heading south along Pittwater Road, turn left at the first street (at traffic lights) after you cross Narrabeen
Lakes bridge, go up the hill to Ocean St and turn right. The club is about 200m along on your left hand side.
If heading from the west - along Warringah Road, turn left when you get to Pittwater Road and proceed as above
(heading north); - along Wakehurst Parkway or Mona Vale Rd, turn right when you get to Pittwater Road and proceed
as above (heading south).
