Nippers Registration
Narrabeen Beach Nippers is now open for 2026/27 registrations. Our first day of Nippers will be in Sunday 25 October 2026.
All Nippers will need to attend Terry Hills Swim School to complete their water proficiency activities to show how well they can swim and float. Dates will be provided closer to the time.
You can register online, or come to one of our Registration Days:
- Registration Day #1 – Sunday 28 September 2025
- Registration Day #2 – Sunday 5 October 2025
Registration for Nippers is done online via the Surf Life Saving Australia Member Portal, where you can manage your family’s membership. See Online Registration down the page for instructions.

Fees
Please note membership categories:
- Parents = Associate Members (generally) unless they are Patrolling Members.
- Children = Junior Active Members
One parent/guardian member is required per family and fees are as per below:
- Child (Nipper) – $110
- Non patrolling adult (associate member) – $50
- Family membership (1 adult and unlimited children) – $200
You can also use NSW Active Kids vouchers, so don’t forget to claim your voucher(s) through your MyServiceNSW Account.
Payments are to be made through the online registration process, or during the registration day at the club.
Age Groups
The age group that your child will be in is determined by the age they are as at the 30th September this year.
Age groups for the 2026/27 season are based on birthday:
- U6 – 1 Oct 2019 – 30 Sept 2020
- U7 – 1 Oct 2018 – 30 Sept 2019
- U8 – 1 Oct 2017 – 30 Sept 2018
- U9 – 1 Oct 2016 – 30 Sept 2017
- U10 – 1 Oct 2015 – 30 Sept 2016
- U11 – 1 Oct 2014 – 30 Sept 2015
- U12 – 1 Oct 2013 – 30 Sept 2014
- U13 – 1 Oct 2012 – 30 Sept 2013
- U14 – 1 Oct 2011 – 30 Sept 2012
On Line Registration
If your child has done Nippers before at any Surf-Lifesaving Club, it is important that you choose to renew your membership so that they do not lose their record of achievements.

Head to the Surf Life-Saving Members Hub to sign up (or renew)
Make sure you pick the correct Narrabeen
Please note, One parent/guardian member is required per family!
The Primary Member must be either parent or guardian.
If you’re registering more than one child from your family, pick the Family Package Fee.
Otherwise, you’ll need to pick Associate Member (unless you have your Bronze Medallion and are a patrolling member), and pay the Nipper Member Fee.
Pay online, and job done! See you in October!
