Hi to all Parents and Nippers and welcome to Narrabeen Nippers Newsletter and I hope everyone is looking forward to the Junior carnival this Sunday.
As I mentioned previously there is no “normal” nippers this Sunday due to the carnival and given that we have hundreds of entrants we will have a cracking day. Narrabeen is going to have a number of entrants which is great so I am hoping the weather holds out with mild weather and no rain. If you want your child to be a late entrant you will need to register between 6.30 – 8.00am as events kick off at 7.30am on the day in the club house. On our website there is a program for the day in the latest news section.
This Sunday Nippers parents usually run the carnival registrations in the morning from 6:30 to 9:00 and the BBQ which runs from 6:30am to around 2.00pm, so we are still looking for volunteers who can lend a hand especially flipping snags, serving or helping out with making Salad rolls and fruit salad. We only ask for a two-hour stint. Thankyou in advance to those who have put your name down to help.
If you can help out we will be looking for assistance during the all periods period from 6.00 am to 2.00pm so if you can help out please email Peter Mays via memberservices@narrabeach.org.au and don’t forget to bring an apron, sun glasses and a smile.
For those parents who signed up to assist the work parties kick off at 6.00am doing beach set up, Registrations and BBQ kick off at 6:00 am.
The following Sunday the 2oth we will be kicking off nippers again as normal, well as normal as we can be a Narrabeen!
Let’s hope for great weather, calm seas and a great carnival.
